Eddie and Chris were a fictional late 80’s rock band, consisting of Eddie Smith (born January 1, 1965) and Chris Johnson (born March 15, 1967). The band was formed in 1987, when Eddie and Chris met in high school and discovered their shared love for music.
Eddie was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and was the son of a successful businessman. He was the lead singer and guitarist of the band, and was known for his powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence. Chris, on the other hand, was born in Seattle, Washington, and was the son of a school teacher. He played the drums and was known for his energetic performances and technical skill.
The band quickly gained popularity in the local music scene and soon released their debut album, “Eddie and Chris”, in 1988. The album featured hit songs such as “Lonely Nights” and “Broken Hearted Blues”, which helped establish the band as one of the leading acts of the 80’s rock scene. They followed up with the release of “Love and War” in 1989, which included the hit single “She’s the One”.
However, the band’s success was not without its share of drama. In 1990, Eddie and Chris were involved in a love triangle with a woman named Melissa. The band was on tour and Melissa, who was a backup singer, had become romantically involved with both Eddie and Chris. The tension between the two bandmates eventually led to a fall out and the band’s break up in 1991.
Eddie and Chris went on to have solo careers, but they never reunited as a band. Eddie released several solo albums, including “Eddie Smith: Solo” in 1992 and “Eddie Smith: Unplugged” in 1995. Chris, on the other hand, formed his own band, “Chris Johnson and the Wild Ones”, and released “Wild Ones” in 1993 and “Rage and Redemption” in 1996.
