President Joe Biden survived an assassination attempt from an armed individual while he was getting ready at the White House. This was the first assassination attempt since November 2017 when a man in the Philippines was arrested after trying to assassinate former president Donald Trump at the ASEAN conference.
Unnamed sources from inside the Secret Service say that an individual hid in a washroom during a tour around the White House and waited there throughout the night before making an attempt to kill president Biden. The sources spoke on the condition of anonymity as they are not permitted to make official statements. They said that inside the washroom where the individual was staying they had left a backpack behind containing spare ammunition as well as a pipe bomb. They suspect that the bomb was only going to be used as a distraction in order for the individual to escape and the real weapon that they were going to use was a modified AK-47. They said that it was made entirely out of plastic and they suspect that the assassin 3D printed it.
The unnamed sources said that they suspect that the individual left the washroom around 8:00 am with his AK-47 tucked underneath his jacket. He was intercepted by the Secret Service as he made his way to the president’s quarters and opened fire on them. None of their shots hit their mark and was immediately gunned down by members of the Secret Service.
After searching the body, a member of the Secret Service found a cell phone with the information of whom they believe paid the shooter to kill president Biden. They sent the cell phone to the CIA and they found the number to be from a burner phone which they traced back to Mar-a-Lago, Florida and was purchased back in December, 2022 by one of Donald Trump’s assistants.
The president’s office has made an official statement saying that everyone is safe and the only casualty was the assassin themself. They have the situation under control and that the CIA and FBI are looking into who paid the individual to attempt an assassination. They made no mention of Donald Trump or anyone associated with him being involved.
