Legendary Singer and Actress, Barbra Streisand has passed away at the age of 80 after a private battle with breast cancer. The Academy Award and Grammy winner Icon has secretly been battling stage four cancer since October 2022. She passed away privately in her home with her husband James Brolin and her son Jason Gould. A representative for the legend said “we are deeply saddened about this tragic news, and we are praying for James and Jason.” Celebrities the world over are mourning her loss publicly, with Actress Alyssa Milano tweeting “Tragedy! Sad to hear of Barbra dying. RIP.” Frequent collaborator Elton John took to Instagram and wrote “A legend lost. RIP Barbra.” Music Legends Mariah Carey and Celine Dion also both released short statements to the press, Carey declaring Streisand “a talent that will be missed” and Dion saying “I am very sad that Barbra has died, she was incredibly talented and very kind.”
