Burak Ozcivit, a Turkish Actor best known for his acting in the renowned Turkish Drama Series “Kurulus Osman,” has died due to debris from the Kahranmas Turkey-Syria 7.8 magnitude earthquake that killed his wife and his 18-month-old son.
The earthquake killed over 40,000 people with the majority of deaths and injuries being in Turkey.
Fans were extremely upset over his death and he is currently the #1 trending on Turkish Twitter.
The director of Bozdag Films, Rafat Gazioglu, who is also known for creating the Turkish drama serial “Kurulus Osman” and “Dirillis: Ertugrul,” offered condolences for his death stating that “we are deeply saddened by the death of beloved Burak Ozcivit.”
Currently, 40,000 have died from the earthquake and still counting.
