FBI Reopens the Cassandra Elroy Case

On February 2nd, the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced that detectives were reopening the case of famous druglord criminal Cassandra Elroy.

Elroy went missing on the night of October 17th, 1999, shortly before police arrived when after admitted to murdering her ex-husband and famous mobster James Jacob “JJ” Elroy, on a 9-1-1 call before disappearing, never to be found.

It was said that Elroy’s motive to the killing of her ex-husband was for leading her good friend and silver screen icon Teresa Lombardi and James Elroy’s current wife at the time, to commit suicide by shooting herself in the head weeks prior to the murder. “[Teresa] would call us all the time saying how James would constantly abuse her physically and verbally.” Kevin Francis, Teresa’s friend and former makeup artist recalled in an interview.

Many people theorize that Cassandra Elroy moved to Germany to start a new life. Many witnesses have seen Elroy in random places, such as clubs and groceries stores. But recently, a farmer in Frankfurt, Germany found the remains and bones of a young woman, between the ages of 25-35 and from the German descent. Elroy, who went missing at the age of 27, and is from German descent her fathers side, could be the possible match for the remains. Detectives to this day, still search for the celebrity.
