The short answer, Yes. On the 11 of February 2023, there were reports that an object was shot down in central Yukon by NORAD. As we now know, there have now been 4 balloons shot down, but only 1 has been identified to be a Chinese spy balloon. There has been much speculation over the origins of these balloons, from being a surveillance balloon from China or even an object that came from outer space. The latter became more prevalent after the search for this balloon was stopped after not even a week of searching. Could this be a cover up by the Canadian government to send the attention away from the public? There have been many ideas that the search was stopped because they did find something, but not what they had expected. Investigators have gone to the sight to find absolutely nothing which means that RCMP already took wherever was in the area. If speculations are right, the RCMP took the debris of the flying saucer, then proceeded to cover up the story by saying that the search was called off. In the past, there’ve been multiple UFO sightings in the Yukon. For example near Fox Lake, there were multiple sightings reported to the Braeburn Lodge and there was even a TV episode on this incident. Elsewhere, this event is very similar to the Roswell incident in 1947. What happened in 1947 was that there was a reported flying saucer that crashed in Roswell, New Mexico. The government then quickly claimed that the object was not a flying saucer, but a weather balloon. This has recently (1994) been debunked as the government admitted that the claim that it was just a “weather balloon” was false. With all this evidence, there’s no doubt that the object shot down in Yukon was a flying saucer.
