FPS mobile shooter Call of Duty: Mobile might shut down next month.

The famous FPS mobile shooter Call of Duty: Mobile is a free-to-play shooter game developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by Activision for Android and iOS. It was know for it’s stunning gameplay where it was one of the largest mobile game launches in history, generating over US$480 million with 270 million downloads within a year. Call of Duty: Mobile Players are experiencing a terrible downside from the game as it is expecting to shutdown within this year and players couldn’t believe and outrageous twits are coming about it. It is said by this year without a know exact date yet could happen.

Several users from around the globe reported that the game was not available on the Apple Store. The company eventually detected the issue and commented on the matter.

Players are having trouble downloading or updating the game from the Store. After clicking on the download option on the official site, a message appears on the App Store which reads:

“This app is not available in your country or region.”

It hit 270 million downloads and collected $480 million in revenue within its first year, becoming one of the most fruitful mobile games.

More than a year after its global launch, COD Mobile was released in China in December 2020, fueling the title’s massive growth in terms of revenue. The free-to-play shooter game has accumulated more than $1.5 billion since its release.

Multiple esports tournaments have also been organized by Activision over the past three years. The company recently conducted a glamorous LAN competition called World Championship 2022 Stage 5 in December last year.

The game surpassed 35 million downloads on the Apple Store and Google Play on its first three days worldwide. and reached 100 million downloads during its first week. By the end of 2019, Call of Duty: Mobile reached 180 million downloads worldwide. By June 2020, the game has over 250 million downloads and generated nearly $327 million. As of May 2021, the game surpassed 500 million downloads and generated over $1 billion. By early 2022, the game surpassed 650 million downloads and generated over $1 billion during 2021 alone.

It can be seen as somewhat of a spiritual successor to Call of Duty: Online, due to a similar approach of a “mega-game”, as the former had, along with taking several weapons and various other things from the former.
