Middlebury Man Arrested in Enfield CT for Speeds above 100mph

At approximately 16:35 Saturday evening suspect Eric Raymond of Middlebury Vermont passed a Hazzardville County speed checkpoint, and was reportedly traveling at a speed of 102mph by a handheld radar device. Raymond was operating his 2016 Ford F350 pickup with Vermont plates. Officer F. Malloy conducted a traffic stop in which Raymond came to a safe stop. Malloy observed the suspension in the pickup was fully compressed and requested a weight inspection with the CTDMV. Raymond and the other three passengers were on their way to a “car parts swap meet.” The vehicle weighed 3200 pounds over it’s registered weight limit. After being sited with a moving violation of 42mph above the posted speed limit, careless and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a hefty fine for being overweight Raymond was let free and sited to appear in Hazardville County Court. We asked Raymond’s friend and passenger, Ryan Eastman for a comment. “We had a long way to go, and a short time to get there..” Eastman insisted. “We were loaded up and truckin..” he exclaimed. “‘Go Bo Go, is what I said, but he thought I said ‘No Bo No’ thats why we pulled over.” **April Fools**
