It’s been 53 years since the Beatles broke up and remaining members McCartney and Starr plan to reform the band with Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison taking over for Lennon and Harrison, respectively. “It’s a dream come true!” Starr was reported to say. McCartney added, “We’re going to start playing at the Cavern Club. move to Hamburg for two years, and follow the path we originally took to fame.”
The band hinted at remakes of some of their early classics including “I Want to Hold Your Cane”, “Help! (I’ve Fallen and I Can’t Get Up)”, “I’m Always Sleeping” and “Doctor Robert, Paging Doctor Robert”.
Legendary producer George Martin will be exhumed for the project. Ed Sullivan as well, and will feature them on a one-off episode of his long running variety show.
