School extends summer holidays by 4 weeks

Greystones Community College in greystones, Co. Wicklow has decided to close their doors on 5th of may this year, four whole weeks ahead of all other schools that will remain open until June 3rd. The principal, Mr. Ruairi Farrell has said “Our students and teachers work really hard, and really deserve the extra break. We have decided to forgo the exams this year and allow the students predict their own grades.”
This decision has been met with mixed feelings amongst other schools and local politicians. More information to come.
