THE GOVERNMENT HAS BANNED THE WORD ‘MUMMY’ FROM BEING USED IN UK SCHOOLS

The Government has officially banned the word ‘Mummy’ from being used in schools. This is due to the confusion between the Parental Figure and the Egyptian term for a Mummified Person. The simple alternatives for this are ‘Mum’, ‘Mother’ or ‘Mama’.
