The island of Anglesey will be inaccessible for all traffic over the Easter period due to both bridges closing. The Menai bridge was already under heavy construction but now council bosses have stated that the Britannia bridge is unsafe to use and have closed it for all traffic. This is a huge blow to local businesses who were expecting tourists visiting the popular island at the Easter break.
