Video game developers at Avalanche Software have confirmed a 4th installment and revival of the Disney Infinity franchise will be released this summer. The fourth installment of the Disney Infinity video game franchise will be the first addition to the previously discontinued series since the release of Disney Infinity: 3.0 Edition in August 2015. Inside sources confirmed this week that Disney Infinity: 4.0 Edition is in development and will bring with it a lineup of Disney TVA characters representing six popular franchises including Amphibia, The Owl House, Big City Greens, Star vs. The Forces of Evil, DuckTales (2017), and The Ghost and Molly McGee.
Joining Disney Infinity: 4.0 Edition will also be characters from Disney and Pixar’s most popular film releases from the last five years, such as Coco, Toy Story 4, Onward, Luca, Encanto, and Turning Red.
The game will feature 38 new characters across 12 Disney, Pixar, and Disney TVA franchises. Popular characters fans can expect to see on the roster include Luz Noceda, Amity Blight, Eda Clawthorne, and Luz and Eda’s furry friend King, Anne Boonchuy, Sprig Plantar, Star Butterfly, Marco Diaz, Scrooge McDuck, Della Duck, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, Molly McGee, her ghost friend Scratch, Cricket and Tilly Green, and Remy Remington.

Disney Infinity: 4.0 Edition will be released on July 28, 2023, for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and XBOX Series X/S users. The game will come with a starter pack that features Luz Noceda, Anne Boonchuy, and Scrooge McDuck, and the Owl House playset.
A trailer for the game will premiere live on YouTube at midnight on April 2, 2023.
