The Biden administration has approved a historic mandate that will require all US citizens to be up to date on their Covid-19 vaccines by the end of 2023. The efforts to get the new mandate approved were led by Vice President Kamala Harris. When asked about her latest victory, the nations first identified as female VP had this to say: “This is a tremendous win, for all people, yes, but also for the marginalized black and trans communities who are routinely marginalized by the health care system in this country.” Across the aisle, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R) called this occasion “The end of democracy as we know it”.
