Former Penn State 5 star QB, Drew Allar, transfers to Georgia in a huge surprise announcement.
Allar seemingly unhappy with the coaching staff, secretly was recruited by Georgia’s Kirby Smart during spring camp.
“This is a huge surprise to all of us, everything was done in secret and we are extremely frustrated” – James Franklin
This type of under-cover recruiting by Kirby Smart has led to questions about the ethics of the situation as rules were potentially broken in order to land Allar.
In the latest interview by 247 sports, Allar said the decision was made with the NFL in mind.
“I feel like Kirby (Smart) has the best vision for me and his staff can develop me into becoming an NFL quarterback.” – Drew Allar
Additionally, Allar adds that he wants to win a national championship before his collegiate career is over and he felt that Georgia “gave me the best opportunity” with the current talent on the roster.
Allar also expressed that frustration from sitting behind Sean Clifford last season played a roll in his decision. “I know i’m better than his bitch-ass, I feel like Franklin never gave me the chance to win the job.”
Penn State will now have to turn to former 3 star, Beau Pribula, to be their quarterback of the future.
Franklin was seen livid leaving the press conference muttering “Kirby is a bitch” under his breath.
More will be detailed as soon as it’s revealed in this shocking story from State College, Pennsylvania.
