it has been allegedly reported that a 17 year old girl has been attacked by two 25 year olds at 11:56pm tonight in the Main Street of birr county offaly, it has said that the two 25 year olds were drunk and were supposedly handling a knife. the 17 year old managed to come across these two and was aggressively approached and injured by the two, one of the 25 year old’s was also injured by the 17 year old with a glass bottle that she had picked up on the same footpath to defend herself , The 25 year old’s has been currently taken in by gaurda síochána for questioning tommorow while the 17 year old has been taken home.
