Calgary police on the hunt for 33-year-old Mohammed Khidir, wanted for questioning in connection to local robbe

Calgary police have launched a manhunt for 33-year-old Mohammed Khidir, who is wanted for questioning in connection with a recent robbery in the city. According to police reports, Khidir is considered a person of interest in the case and investigators believe he may have crucial information that could help solve the crime.

The robbery in question occurred on Tuesday night at a local convenience store, where an armed suspect made off with cash and merchandise after threatening the cashier. Police say the suspect fled the scene on foot and managed to evade capture, but surveillance footage from the store has provided some clues as to his identity.

Investigators say they are particularly interested in speaking with Khidir, who is known to frequent the area where the robbery took place. They describe him as a male of Middle Eastern descent, around 5’10” tall, with a medium build and short, dark hair. He is believed to be in possession of a black backpack and may be wearing a blue jacket.

Police are urging anyone with information on Khidir’s whereabouts to come forward, and caution that he should not be approached directly as he may be armed and dangerous. Instead, anyone who spots him is advised to contact police immediately and provide a description of his location and appearance.

As of yet, no arrests have been made in connection with the robbery, and police say the investigation is ongoing. They are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything related to the incident to come forward and assist with their inquiries.
