If you have plans to enjoy Saturday’s beautiful forecasted weather, by walking or riding the canal, you may have to make new plans.
The Army Corp of Engineers will be setting up barricades and check points along the 7.7 miles of the paved walkway to ensure that no parties of only girls have access. If you are female and want to walk or ride the canal Saturday morning, you must be accompanied by a cute guy.
The Army advises that they will not make any exceptions.
