Catholic Retreat Center to temporarily close doors

A popular Citrus Heights retreat center has been forced to close its doors due to multiple hazardous conditions at its facility.
Christ the King Passionist Retreat Center, a mainstay in the Catholic community since 1964, has been deemed inoperable by city officials due to faulty plumbing, electricity, and infrastructure issues.
This came to light in the last few weeks due to a plumbing incident at one of the retreats that led to major structural damage. Soon afterwards, city engineers were summoned to the property, located on Van Maren Avenue, and promptly ordered the facility to halt business operations.
This all came as a major shock to staff employees and especially, Father Jack Conley, who was immediately fired from his post after 47 years of service to the Sacramento community.
When contacted, Conley said, “ I’ve never been more humiliated in my entire career and this includes all the fondling accusations ”
His comments reverberated throughout the Sacramento catholic community and prompted multiple people to come forward with molest allegations that resurfaced in their memories after the comments. The entire Sacramento diocese is now under federal investigation and a class action lawsuit is pending that could lead to a widespread nationwide inquiry involving thousands of clergy.

If you or someone you know has been a potential victim of Father Jack, please contact FBI agent John Cocktosen @ 916-443-4535
