San Ramon, CA – Emily Sugihara, an 18year-old college student at Saint Mary’s, was recently arrested on charges of child molestation in the small town of San Ramon. The arrest came after a lengthy investigation by local law enforcement officials, who had been tracking Sugiharas’ movements for several months.
According to police reports, Sugihara had been using a video game plate from called “fortnite” to lure young children into meeting them in person claiming if they did, they get free so called “v-bucks and battle pass”. Once she had gained their trust, she would then take advantage of them after bringing them to a big 5 parking lot. This was one of many events where minors encountered Sugihara, which ultimately lead the predator to being caught in her own tracks on March 31, 2023.
