On April 21st 2023, the US Congress passed a law banning the work of all Christian Churches, whose message undermines certain government interests. The law did not specify such interests, citing government security. This law received a two-thirds majority in both houses and does not require the signature of the president. All Churches which profess Christianity, including non-denominational, Baptist, Reformed, Lutheran, Catholic, and Orthodox, among others, must cease operation immediately and hand over their censuses of parishioners for further examination.
