Beginning on Friday March 23rd several sexual harassment allegations have been filed against the band, Deftones. These allegations have been reported through various fans that have attended their concerts and meet and greets. Investigators have yet to respond on this case, however Marissa Posely has publicly shared the various incidents in which she was sexually harassed by various members of the band. Due to the amount of backlash that the band has received since this information has gone public, the band has decided to remove all of their music from Spotify and all other major streaming platforms. The band has since released an official statement in which they have publicly apologized to all victims and have encouraged fans to continue supporting them through this “undeniably difficult process”. The lead singer, Chino Moreno, has since encouraged fans to stay positive stating, “this entire thing is fake, april fools!!”
