Dolly Parton and Jamie Lee Curtis, fresh off her Oscar win for “Everything Everywhere all at Once”, have teamed up for a Haunted House buddy cop film for Netflix, we can confirm with sources.
The film involves two cops Lauren (Parton) and Emma (Curtis) as they try to find a mystery involving the local haunted house in the area. The owner of the haunted house is still a role yet to be cast, though sources say the producers want Helena Bonham Carter or Aubrey Plaza for the role.
The villain has also yet to be cast, though Parton wants her friend Jimmy Fallon for the role, as the villain apparently is “a talk show host who wants to buy the haunted house before the mystery is solved”.
Filming is to begin in Nashville, Tennessee sometime in late 2023.
