Unfortunately, Ed Sheeran has decided to cancel his United States portion of his Mathematics Tour. This came as a huge shock to millions of his fans. He announced it on April 1st, 2023 on his Instagram page.
This post was only available for 1 hour. It stated, “I am sorry to announce I will be canceling the United States portion of my Mathematics Tour”. “I hope to schedule a new tour for the United States in the next few years”. The reasoning behind why he decided to cancel the United States portion of the Mathematics Tour was not stated in his Instagram post.
Channel 33 News reached out to Ed Sheeran’s team for an additional comment as to what lead to this decision, this was there response; “Ed Sheeran has decided to cancel the United States portion of his Tour due to personal reasons”. While this answer is vague, it gives us somewhat of a reason behind his decision.
His new album “-” pronounced Subract, is still set to be released in May. So while his United States fans will no longer be able to see him live, they can still look forward to his new album.
