Kanye west, 45, who is an American rapper born in Chicago, IL, was found dead this morning in his Hidden Hills, CA home. Authorities say he was found dead with a 9mm handgun aside him. Authorities found a gunshot wound to his head and ruled it as a suicide. This happened at 9:27 AM today.
Kanye West released his first album in 2004 titled “The College Dropout” after not being taken seriously as a rapper and only being deemed a producer. This was a great introduction to his career as it did extraordinary numbers.
He then went on to release “Late Registration” which did numbers as well, this came out a year after his first album, at this point he felt unstoppable. Then he released “Graduation” which also broke records in the rap industry.
Shortly after the release of “Graduation”, He’s mother Donda West passed away due to a failed plastic surgery in Los Angeles, California. This messed him up in the head but he still went on to release 2 critically acclaimed records “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” and “Yeezus” after this period he gained a lot of controversy and the most controversial statement he has ever said was last year, the thing about hating Jews. This causes Adidas and Balenciaga to drop him loosing almost 2 billion dollars in a day. He then went off the map for a little bit and we haven’t really heard anything about him up until this point.
Overall, Kanye West was a staple in Hip-Hop and will be missed by many.
