“Love Island” Controversy Causes Show Cancellation

The producers of the ITV Studios Show “Love Island” announced that the show would no longer air any new episodes, according to E-News. Mike Spencer, the executive producer of the program, responded in an interview with Fresh News that the team is “sorely disappointed to say goodbye to a show as wonderful and special as ‘Love Island,’” and would “surely do another program similar that invites less controversy.” The controversy that ended the show, of course, is the infamous debate “Biancaugh v. Tayluh,” where the two costars accused each other of getting liposuction, breast implants, and UV tanning sessions through each other’s agents. It seems that love can certainly kill, especially on an island.
