Riot Games, inc. looking to pull out of mobile games, including ‘Wild Rift’, says internal source

The Chinese-owned gaming company based in Los Angeles, California is said to be winding down its development of mobile games like Wild Rift, Teamfight Tactics, etc. Tencent, the Chinese company that owns 97% of Riot Games, is looking to pull out of Riot mobile games as it bargains a deal with Moonton. An internal source claims that Riot’s mobile games are not performing as well in China and are a direct competitor to some of the games developed by Moonton. “This deal with Moonton is worth a lot more than the games are currently making in China” says the source…
