Heavy overnight snow will lead to some disruption to travel and school closures in parts of Ireland.
A number of schools, mainly in Co.Dublin and Co.Wicklow, will close on the 17th of April due to the adverse weather.
Road users have also been advised to allow extra time for their journeys due to snow and deteriorating conditions.
Translink say all bus services from Dublin City have been cancelled until further notice.
Passengers have been advised that due to adverse weather conditions delays are expected at Dublin Airport.
According to Met Office forecasters, snow can be expected in places – even at low levels – and temperatures will plummet to below freezing.
Yellow weather warnings for snow and ice remain in place until the 19th of April.
