Where in the world is Enid, Oklahoma?
Swifties around the world may soon know.
Taylor Swift, who just opened her “Eras” tour, added Enid as a stop earlier this morning. The town of nearly 50,000 is located in North-Central Oklahoma, nearly 90 miles north of Oklahoma City. Enid has a concert venue, Stride Bank Center, that seats 2500 people – one-tenth of the size of audiences Swift is used to. Fans lucky enough to get tickets can look forward to an intimate evening with the Grammy singer.
When asked why she would add such a small location at such a late date, Swift said “I want to give my fans an unusual experience. Besides, the streets in that town are awesome.”
Locals are getting ready for the influx of Swifties. Long-time resident Lori Coleman said “I wonder if my friends will really have to read this far before they realize what today is!”
