Due to the recent dismissal of two African-American Senators, Governor Abbot has close the border to Tennessee to hold off the influx of recent out of state rioters. State police are at main highways and airports entering Tennessee checking home of records on all individuals in the incoming vehicles and flight. Out of state individuals will be deferred entrance into Tennessee until April 19, 2023 when the state executive order expires.
