While on his way to perform at the Grand Ole Opry, the “Country Superstar” singer found himself stuck on the side of the road after his F-150 stalled. An 81-year-old neighbor spotted Tim McGraw and offered him a ride. Fearful he was running late, he urged the driver to speed, and he lost control of the vehicle while exiting at the Opryland ramp at 55 MPH. McGraw, only 55 years old at the time,
underwent several surgeries, but died on the operating table on April 6 2023.
