Last night, two young boys were told that Valorant was suing them for violating their terms and conditions. These are 2 of many people who are going to receive messages from the Valorant team.
Last month, Valorant updated their terms and conditions, implementing a new play time limit due to many users over playing the game. Many parents have reached out to Valorant, telling them that their child spends too much time on the game and that they need to take action. Because of this, Valorant created a new term stating that 8-10 hours per week is the maximum a child can play on Valorant. If this is violated, Valorant has the ability to sue.
Make sure to check your mailbox this upcoming week to see if you have received a message from the team.
Valorant CEO states, “it is very important for us to have a game that users do not become addicted to. Many children are starting to over use it and we have to take serious measures” he states.
