UC Berkeley Student Madison O’Kane Arrested for Public Intoxication

UC Berkeley student Madison O’Kane was arrested for public intoxication two weeks ago outside of the PIKE fraternity house. Witnesses reported seeing O’Kane approach the fraternity house stumbling and appearing heavily intoxicated.

Campus police arrived shortly after and found O’Kane slurring her words and unable to stand on her own. They administered a breathalyzer test, which revealed her blood alcohol content to be well above the legal limit.

O’Kane was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication. She has yet to release a statement regarding the incident.

UC Berkeley officials have not commented on O’Kane’s arrest, but the incident serves as a reminder to students to drink responsibly and prioritize their safety while enjoying their college experience.
