Unexpected Drug Bust In Forest Park Illinois

At 4:36 AM on Saturday, April 1st, the Forest Park police department shut down a drug ring operating out of a home in Forest Park.

Police received worried complaints from neighbors about an excessive amount of packages delivered to the home and multiple suspicious visitors. Complaints dated back several years, although were amplified to a great extent the past week.

Police conducted a wellness visit on Friday, March 31st. This visit raised enough concerns that police chief Ken Gross was able to attain a search warrant for the home within hours.

At 4:00 AM on April 1st, seven officers along with Gross entered the home. They found hallucinogens, methamphetamines, penicillin, and various other drug memorabilia in the resident’s basement and front bedroom. There were also various boxes marked, “Comirnaty,” which is the official name for the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 Vaccine. Upon further investigation the the box only contained viles of saline.

The resident was immediately handcuffed and arrested and is currently in custody. During the arrest, the resident yelled graphic obscenities into the neighborhood and fought the officers.

It is not currently known who the drugs were being marketed to, but it has come to the police’s attention that they were delivered to the resident under the false pretenses of the “Chewy” company that sells products for pets.

The resident cannot be named at this moment. All that is known is they had a large dog assist with the operation.

Update 2:56 PM: Resident’s name has been released to the public as Jennifer Stange. Resident is a woman with dark hair and is thought to be in her 60s.
