The movie franchise based on the games from Sega and Sonic Team, had planned another sequel for Sonic the Hedgehog. That features Shadow from the games. and rumored to have a darker plot. But due to the success of Universal’s “The Super Mario Bros Movie”, the film has been cancelled.
