Yo Gabba Gabba! Weird Crossover Episode

I used to watch a show on Nick Jr. called Yo Gabba Gabba! since I was born. I stopped watching it when I lost interest in it.

Anyways, Yo Gabba Gabba! was a musical sketch comedy show (similar to Bubble Guppies though that show premiered in 2011) that uses popular artists like Solange Knowles, The Roots and more. It teaches kids about life and social skills. The series premiered in 2007 and ended in 2015.

So, let’s find out about this crossover, shall we? Let’s begin!

It all began when I was cleaning out my attic. I came across a box that says “Nick Jr. Nonsense” Nonsense? Nick Jr. is not nonsense at all! Only the modern shows (because of PAW Patrol) are nonsense. I looked through the box and found a DVD called “Yo Gabba Gabba! Season 2 Crossover” A crossover? But there was a crossover of the show (with The Fresh Beat Band) during season 3 or 4. I took it to my room and put in my DVD player.

It started with a Nick Jr. logo. The logo was shaped like balls and they bounced from the top of the screen. Then it went to the season 2 version of the theme song and it was normal.

The title card came up and it read (as well as the kids narrated it) “Wubbzy” on TV in a bright yellow text and a little-bit dark yellow background. All of the Gabba Gang were in Foofa Land and the “Created by Scott Schultz Christian Jacobs” text was left down. I was confused to see two acquired Nick Jr. shows get a crossover. (WildBrain owns YGG while Starz owns Wubbzy) Although there is a picture on DeviantArt about Toodee looking similar to Wubbzy.

Despite this, I was WAY intro Wubbzy more. I saw him first before YGG.

Back on track, the episode started as usual, with DJ Lance Rock saying “Hello friends, today, we are expecting a visitor and his 3 friends to visit Gabba Land!”

Then in Foofa Land, Plex’s red antenna glowed and DJ Lance Rock said “Hmmm…. That’s strange. I wasn’t expecting a Dancey Dance friend so early. Well, come on everyone, a Dancey Dance friend is here.” Plex zapped Wubbzy, Widget, Walden and Daizy here. Wubbzy said “Wow wow everyone, my name is Wubbzy! These are my friends Widget, Walden, and Daizy! What are your names?”

They all replied:

DJ Lance Rock: I’m DJ Lance Rock, up here!
Plex: I’m Plex! Nice to meet you all!
Foofa: I’m Foofa! Wubbzy, you’re so adorable!
Toodee: My name’s Toodee. Wubbzy, you look just like me!
Brobee: I’m Brobee!
Muno: I’m Muno! Hey Wubbzy, are you and your friends are the visitors here in Gabba Land?

Wubbzy replied “Yes! We are the visitors here in Gabba Land! Come one, a song will help you know who we are!” They danced to the theme song of Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! When it ended, Daizy said “And I’m Daizy! Wubbzy’s next door neighbor who loves flowers!” They all cheered and surprisingly, it went straight to jingle, no kid (usually there is kids saying they like to dance before a segment) appeared.

The jingle was apparently the song “Wubbzy Wiggle” When it ended, it went to the Mark’s Magic Pictures segment, Mark said “Hello, my name is Mark and we’re going to draw Wubbzy’s favorite toy, a Kickety-Kick Ball! And it’s really easy, all you have to do is draw circles! First, let’s draw big circle!” He drew one. “And finally, let’s draw small circles inside all over.” He drew them all over. The ball started to bounce like crazy and Mark said “Whoa! I think it’s bouncing to Wubbzy. I better go get it. Well, thanks for drawing with us today, see you next time! You, Kickety-Kick Ball, come back!”

The next scene showed Widget showing the Gabba Gang her inventions. She said “And this is Gidget, also known as the Super Solar-Powered Robot 3000! Once Wubbzy and Widget had lot of attention to her.” The Gabba Gang and Daizy went “Awwwww” and smiled. Widget said “But luckily, when Gidget went insane, they called me and I stopped her by blocking the sun!” They all went “Phew!” “And the lesson is: Don’t forget your friends.” said Widget. They all cheered. Because of this, they all danced to the song “That’s What Friends Are For”

As the song ended it went to a Knock Knock of the Joke Day segment. Here’s the joke

Paul Scheer: Knock knock.
Jack McBrayer: Who’s there?
Paul: Daizy
Jack: Daizy who?
Paul: Here is a Daizy for you!

I understood the joke, it meant Paul was giving Jack Daizy!

When the joke segment ended, it went to a Super Music Friends Show segment. The announcer said “Let’s get together for BeyoncĂ© and Solange’s sibling duo song: Naive!” It was very cool for me because Solange guest starred in the YGG episode “Baby” and BeyoncĂ© in Wubbzy’s Wubb-Girlz episodes and the “Wubb Idol” movie. And they were siblings!

Next came the Number Segment, the number they counted up to was to 12! For each one, they used multi-colored Wubbzys to count! Here are the colors for each number

1: Red
2: Orange
3: Green
4: Blue
5: Purple
6: Light Blue
7: Brown
8: Pink
9: Light Black
10: White
11: Grey
12: Yellow

Then it went to a Look Back at Today remix as a way to say goodbye Wubbzy and his friends. When it ended, Wubbzy and his friends said goodbye to all of the Gabba Gang. Then Plex zapped them out and they all cheered.

DJ Lance Rock said “Wow wow wow! I had a great time meeting Wubbzy and his friends today! Thanks for playing with us!” The Gabba Gang said “Bye!” DJ Lance Rock said “Here we go! YOOOOOOO GABBA GABBA!!!!!!” He put the Gabba Gang toys back in his boombox normally. He walked out as the episode faded to black.

The credits were normal. Credits for Wubbzy and his friends were credited too. (the voices actors, animation provider, etc.)

The Magic Store logo came first, then WildBrain, thirdly Bolder Media, and finally Starz Media.

It ended, I took the disc out of my DVD player and put it my closet and just relaxed on my bed.

The end!
