CSI: Miami Lost Episode “Horatio’s Death”

DISCLAIMER: This story is made up and is for entertainment purposes only. it is not meant to bash people’s childhoods tho. Otherwise, you can narrate this story all you want, but make sure to give credit to me of course. Now, let’s begin.

Do you all remember the most popular show CSI: Miami? Well of course everyone does. CSI: Miami is an American police procedural drama television series that ran from September 23, 2002 until April 8, 2012 on CBS. Featuring David Caruso as Lieutenant Horatio Caine, Emily Procter as Detective Calleigh Duquesne, and Adam Rodriguez as Detective Eric Delko, the series is the first direct spin-off of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, “transplanting the same template and trickery—gory crimes, procedural plot and dazzling graphics—into [a new city] while retaining the essence of the original idea”.

However, there was one episode that never aired on TV, and that reason is because of Horatio’s brutal suicide. We’ll tell you this story, at that moment.

One day, i was at home, watching a bunch of Zoey 101. When i was about to get some rest, i heard a loud knock on the door.

So i opened it and to my surprise, it was a package.

“Strange… i didn’t order anything!” I facepalmed in annoyance. Just then, i grabbed the package and closed the door, and went back inside my bed.

After that, i went to open the package, and when i opened it, it turned out to be a VHS tape of CSI: Miami, which was weird because that show wasn’t released on VHS before.

“Huh? A VHS tape of CSI: Miami? I thought this show was never released on VHS!” I said in confusion.

Anyways, i looked back at the VHS tape, and on the cover of the VHS tape, it just said “CSI MIAMI UNAIRED FINALE.”

“An unaired finale to that episode? cool.” I said in a neutral way.

After that, i put the VHS tape in my VHS/VCR combo player, turned on the player and waited for it to start.

When it started, it shows a recap of what happened to Horatio after investigating a murder of a man who lives in Ohio.

However, Horatio wasn’t looking angry at all, he looked sad, his face has a frown smile, and his eyes are blue as if he was about to let out a tear. He was in the same mood as when Speed died in the episode “Lost Son”, or he was heartbroken.

Horatio was sitting on a bench, alone. He sniffs for like 17 seconds before he began to speak.

“I want to quit CSI right now… I’m feeling heartbroken… Speed got killed, my bullies at school would kidnap and take me to the basement, and i lost everything i loved.”, Horatio said while sniffing.

After Horatio said that, there was silence for a minute.

After a minute of silence, the screen cut to black while showing the normal theme song.

“Hmm… this seems interesting. I wonder what is going to happen in the next part.” I said in confusion.

After the theme song ended, it cut to a shot of Horatio walking down the streets, with reversed Saucy Monky music playing in the background.

Suddenly, he saw Eric in front of him.

Eric: Hi! What happened to you, Horatio?

Horatio said nothing. He was just sniffing.

Eric: Hmm, weird. Why would Horatio be like this? Is he sad? We’ll never know.

Horatio then comes closer to Eric and said in a sorrowful tone “Listen Eric, i need to tell you something.”

Eric said, “What?”

Horatio: Speed got killed, my bullies at school would kidnap and take me to the basement, and i lost everything i loved. So that means…

Eric: What is it, Horatio?

Horatio then let out a tear before continuing to speak.

“I’M QUITTING CSI!” He said sorrowfully.

“You’re qutting CSI? No! Please, don’t do this! You’re making our friends sad and heartbroken!” Eric cried.

Horatio: It’s too late. I’m really quitting CSI, and i mean it! I’m done!

Horatio then walks away while letting out tears and is still sniffing.

Eric gasped in shock.

“Oh my! Horatio, no! I want you to stay! Please, don’t go! No! NOOOOOOOOOOO!” He said while staring at Horatio in shock.

Horatio didn’t reply and instead walked away from the scene.

The next scene shows Calleigh and the other colleagues at the CSI building in Miami, warning any colleague and Eric that Horatio’s life is in danger.

Calleigh: Listen here, guys! Horatio is quitting CSI, and his life is in danger!

Alexx: What the?!

Yelina: Uh oh… this is horrible.

Eric: You’re right Calleigh! I told Horatio about the fact Speed got killed, with his bullies at school that would kidnap and take him to the basement and he lost everything he loved. We gotta do something!

Calleigh: On my way!

The guys got out of the door and went inside of the room.

After this, the screen cut to a scene of Horatio’s house.

Horatio was crying sorrowfully as if his actor was more sadder.

Horatio: It’s all my fault. I really need to quit CSI, and my life is in danger! I’m sorry, but i need to write something on the note.

After Horatio said that, he went onto his desk and sit down there, as he keeps crying.

He grabbed out a gun, a piece of paper, and a pencil, but as he did it, the colors kept on flickering from light to dark.

Horatio gripped the pencil in his hand, and a tear rolled down his face. The part that bothered me the most was that the tear didn’t look like the usual blue, cartoon-style tears.

This tear looked completely realistic, as if there had been a drop of water rolling down my TV from his eye.

Horatio wiped the tear from his face with his sleeve, and began to write on the paper, reading out loud what he was writing.

“I can’t take it anymore,” he said.

As soon as he got that sentence out, a faint noise started playing in the background. It sounded like he is crying. This noise continued playing as Horatio continued writing.

“My life has been horrible and hasn’t gotten better. My best friend, Eric, is only my best friend because he doesn’t know any better. My bullies hate my guts. They would probably be happy if I wasn’t around anymore.”

Horatio stopped writing and talking and started weeping loudly. The color-flicking started getting faster, and his crying in the background started getting louder, and it sounded like more he is beginning to cry. It could’ve just been my imagination, but I remember hearing one of the unknown people very faintly yell, “He’s going to do it!” The colors keep flickering faster as Horatio keeps writing.

“The only job I can get is of course to work at CSI to solve investigations. Speed was killed of course, my bullies at school actually would kidnap and take me to their basement, and they basically use me to get more torture i don’t deserve. I’m in my 40s and I still have my driver’s license. Everyone are the only ones I’ve ever had in my life, and even they’re ‘just friends.’ They never had any interest in me. I’m pretty sure they’re only friends because they feel sorry for me. I’m sorry if I’m hurting anyone at all for doing this, but I just can’t live like this anymore. Thank you all for everything i deserve, especially my colleagues Eric, Calleigh, and everyone else i loved. Oh, and remember, if you see this note i’m writing, then i might be dead.”

The screen froze for a few seconds, then the episode continued with Horatio writing his final sentence. The contrast stayed dark instead of flickering from light to dark. It was absolute silence except for Horatio saying sorrowfully,

“All of you will soon miss me in the future. And if you are seeing this right now, Goodbye…”

After Horatio said his final sentence, he grabbed out his gun and before he could pull the trigger on his forehead, it was interrupted by Eric, Calleigh, Alexx and Yelina coming to check Horatio’s room, while the door was left open.

Eric: NO! Horatio, please no!

Calleigh: Oh no… I’m about to cry…

Yelina: Me too…

Alexx: Whoa! Horatio, what are you doing?

Horatio didn’t reply, instead he pulled the trigger and immediately shot himself on his forehead with blood splattering all over the room.

Horatio later fell on the ground dead.

I gasped in shock.

“Oh. My…” i said, knowing that Horatio committed suicide in a brutal way.

Just then, Eric went close to the note and read it.

When he finished reading, he saw Horatio’s corpse and screamed in agonizing ways.

“NO!” Eric said, about to cry sorrowfully.

Alexx: What the?!

“HORATIO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” Calleigh said as she started to cry, but her cries sounded more like her actor was mourning the death of a person.

Yelina: Oh no… what just happened? After all the investigations we solved and had with him, now he did this? Why?

Calleigh: He is dead. It’s too late to save him now…

Calleigh sniffed while crying.

Yelina: Horatio died?! What are you talking about?

Eric: I’m sorry, but that honestly hurts a lot more.

Alexx: No! Horatio…

Calleigh comes closer to Horatio’s corpse and touches it behind one of his hands.

Calleigh: No! Horatio! I will miss you forever.

Calleigh continued to cry while watching Horatio, motionless.

After that, Yelina and Alexx started to cry too.

Their cries sounded more like it could be realistic as possible.

I let out a tear as i watched them crying all over Horatio’s death.

“No…” i said, letting out a tear through my TV screen.

I realized that Horatio commited a brutal suicide and he died later! That was all about his tragic demise, of course.

After all the crying lasted for 56 seconds, the screen cut to black.

It cut to a black screen with text saying “3 days later…”.

After this, it cut to a funeral for Horatio.

All of the colleagues including Eric, Calleigh, Alexx and Yadina are present at the funeral. However, there was silence for 5 minutes, before it showed the funeral manager walking towards the bar.

Funeral Manager: Attention all citizens of Miami, our beloved Horatio Caine died after getting mortally wounded by a single gunshot to his head, cause of how sad his death was. Would you like to say something about him, hi-

The funeral manager tried to finish his sentence, but he couldn’t hold in his sadness anymore and began crying.

Calleigh began comforting him saying it’s going to be okay and said that he’s seen death before.

Eventually, all the colleagues, excluding the funeral manager began crying cause of how sad the death of Horatio has been for them.

After the funeral ended, and of course the scene lasted for 16 minutes, It then showed the CSI building without Horatio.

Eric, Calleigh, Alexx and Yadina are still sad about the death of Horatio.

Eric: Horatio will be missed. Am i going to agree now?

Calleigh: Of course Eric.

Calleigh then came closer to Eric and comforts him.

“It’s ok Eric, but without Horatio, i’ll never be at CSI the same way again. Don’t worry, we’ll be there for you, Eric.” She smiled, while saying that.

Eric: Oh. Horatio was my friend after all…

After Eric said that, the camera slowly zooms out to reveal at picture of Horatio sitting on the table. After this, the screen cut to black and it showed the credits but something was off.

The credits are red, the same music when Horatio walks down the streets played and the Co-starring appearances are censored out. After the credits ended, it cut to the Jerry Bruckheimer Television logo, but it was interrupted by “I Miss You Horatio…”, with an unknown buzzing sound.

The Alliance Atlantis logo from 1999 played, but it was blood red and the text was bloody, with the words “Alliance Atorture”.

After that, the CBS Productions logo played, but the CBS eye had a creepy stare, the words “CBS” and “Productions” are all bloody, reading out “CBS Productions Nightmares” with “Nightmares” on the bottom, and it was also blood red too.

After all the creepy-looking like 42 minute lasting, the episode ended and the tape ejected by itself.

I was sad, but at the same time shocked, scared and traumatized.

I was also appalled of what I have seen, so I did what I had to do. I took out the VHS tape and smashed it to bits, then i threw it in the trash.

I couldn’t ever watch CSI Miami after what I have witnessed that horrible episode.

After that traumatizing experience, i went back to my bed and slept for 10 hours straight.

After i slept for 10 hours, i woke up, only to find something terrible happening. There was a whisper saying “That honestly hurts more, huh?”

What i saw was horrifying. It was a creepy version of Horatio with bloodshot eyes and sharp teeth.

I screamed as i looked Horatio in a creepy way, so i grabbed the creepy Horatio and threw him all the way to the galaxy.

To this day, i still need to know who made this episode, and why was it even made… We’ll find out who did this.

Always remember, if you find a package containing a lost episode that was not on TV and it was on VHS or DVD, don’t watch it please.
