National Weather Service (NWS) encourages Illinois residents to not go outside until 12:00 AM Saturday due to severe weather conditions. “Please stay inside, the weather conditions are dangerous. Stay where you are now and please seek shelter”, says Corey Tobsy who is the Chief Head Officer of the National Weather Service.
Affected areas include Lake County, Cook County, and parts of LaSalle County.
