A total of eight girls in the West Midlands were jailed this month at Birmingham Crown Court for crimes spanning from drug dealing to gun charges.
Yesterday six women were jailed for taking part in a drug dealing operation in which they grew cannabis plants and sold the drugs over the West Midlands.
The sentences were:
1) Jessica Aston was found guilty of conspiracy to supply class b drugs with intent to supply and possession of a firerarm, she was sentenced to 6 years & 9 months in prison.
Summer-Louise Baker, Kate Burgess, Libby Bayley, Kirsty Leigh Reay & Naomi Shakespeare were also convicted and given prison sentences:
3) Summer-Louise Baker: 8 years & 3 months in prison
4) Kate Burgess: 7 years & 4 months in prison
5) Libby Bayley: 11 years & 6 months in prison
6) Naomi Shakespeare: 11 years in prison
Today two women were jailed for the robbery of a pub last year in which one of the assailants shot a worker with a .357 magnum.
Jade Walker was originally charged with attempted murder but was found not guilty, however she was found guilty of robbery and possession of a firearm.
Paisley Sambidge was also found guilty of robbery and possessing of a firearm.
The sentences were:
1) Jade Walker: 16 years in prison
2) Paisley Sambidge: 10 years & 6 months in prison
