An investigation got underway on Tuesday after a crashed Honda was found abandoned.
The crash remained under investigation as of Tuesday evening.
While officials said they are relieved there appear to be no victims, a lot of questions remain.
“Finding nobody there, it’s kind of a twofold thing,” Gray said. “It’s good that nobody was involved, but at the same time, you’re still wondering what the condition of the person was who actually was in that vehicle and where they ended up.”
As strange as this crash was, Boxboro fire officials said this was not the first time they responded to a crash like it. Rather, just a few months ago, officials said they responded to another similar crash on Route 111.
