Taylor Swift, dead at 33 after tragic car accident in Mexico City last night after a performance at the Eras Tour. 3 others also tragically died after the accident. 1 in Swift’s vehicle, and the other two in the other pickup truck involved.
According to police, Swift’s limo was heading southbound on Mexicos primary highway when a Ford Pickup was going the wrong way on the same highway. The Ford Pickup striked Swift’s limo head on smashing in both vehicles.
Her family and fans are deeply saddened by this tragic news. Her mother said to CNN News,
“Taylor was a ray of sunshine. She inspired so many from the young age of 15! It is just remarkable how many lives she’s touched to this day, and I hope to the moon and back that she can continue touching those lives forever. I love my sweet Tay.”
Many of Taylor’s closest friends (Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Taylor Launter ,etc.) have tributes to her via instagram stories and posts.
Unfortunately many who were supposed to attend the remaining Eras Tour locations will not be able to go. Especially with all the problems with the Ticketmaster fiasco many are very upset. Taylor’s Team plans to hopefully refund as soon as possible.
