Over 20 Parents Frustrated After Chicago Bulls College Prep Made An Official Statement Over 20 Students Now Facing Severe Consequences For Little Bad Habit And Parents Are Demanding Educational Justice/Rights

Chicago Bulls College Prep, a campus of the Noble Network of Charter Schools has parents frustrated for making an official decision at over 20 students now being former students at Chicago Bulls College Prep. Recently, Chicago Bulls College Prep welcomed their new principal name Geomelea Moya, the 4th principal at Chicago Bulls College Prep since the opening of their charter high school. Chicago Bulls College Prep made an official decision that they will expel a total of 38 students for what the school used to have a 30-minute policy proceeded to going back home, not attending school for late arrival to school, and a 1-day suspension following the next day. However, Chicago Bulls College Prep has a new policy on tardiness and absences stating “Any scholar that is late to school 30-minutes or more, will now result in an immediate referral for expulsion instead of scholars going back home, not attending school that day for late arrival/failure to arrive to school on time, and 1-day suspension following the next school day. Class tardiness isn’t much an issue at Bulls, but school tardiness will now come to a stop. Any scholar that has 10 absences or more will now result in an immediate referral for expulsion instead of a summer school attendance and fees.” said Geomelea Moya. Parents are frustrated for the decision made knowing that Noble Schools has it’s own policy on tardiness and absences. When we spoke with a Noble Schools Director of Student Refferal, he started “We understand that this isn’t our policy as the rest of our Noble Campus expect Bulls, but Chicago Bulls College Prep has a contract with the Chicago Bulls being us as partners in the education of scholars at Noble. Noble’s policies are for all Noble Schools and Chicago Bulls College Prep holds their own policies with our signature consent with many cases resulting in approval.” Parents are now demanding justice and Chicago Bulls College Prep is holding on to their final decision statements.
