World Famous Hog Called Retires

ATLANTA – Some unfortunate news out of the blossoming Hog Calling Community. Jordan “Bacon Boy” Bagwell has called it a career in the Hog Calling Association after just 4 seasons. In his time with the HCA, Bacon Boy Bags racked up 14 division titles, 2 Hog Caller of the year awards and 3 National Titles.

On his career Bagwell states “It’s been fun! The league just isn’t what it was when I came in. Back then we were in backyards and state fairs, now we’re selling out stadiums nation wide.” An interesting quote from Bagwell considering the HCA has only sold out Shaw Park Pinto Baseball Field this past season, which seated 34 people.

HCA president Danny Damian had this to say on Bagwell “We’ll all miss Bacon Boy. He’s a pioneer to the sport but it’s someone else’s time now. I think the next great Hog Caller will jump in and take over seamlessly.”

On a potential return to the HCA, Bacon Bags said “You never know. A couple Trans Lights and I’ll probably be right back.”
