The 26-year-old male lead vocalist of the defunct Korean boy band “BTS,” Jung Kook, passed away unexpectedly in a fatal vehicle accident today, Wednesday, October 18. The highly regarded musician Jung Kook, who provided the lead vocals for the defunct “boy band” BTS, tragically passed away this afternoon.
He was the recipient of numerous awards and accolades, including the Golden Disk, Melon, Seoul, and Mnet Asian Music Awards for best new artist (top group) and top selling song, the American Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, Teen Choice Awards recognition, Asia Artist Awards, and Asia Artist Awards for best “army” fanbase.

Suga is disappointed that his career is coming to an end because he loved working on music with Jung Kook. Jimin, another of the group’s close best friends, is also experiencing excruciating sadness. Jimin and Jung Kook both had auditions for Big Hit Entertainment.
