Today in the early hours the Laredo police department responded to many calls about a shooting taking place. As officers arrive on the scene the noticed neighbors gathered around the apartment complex to discover a male on the floor with a gun shot to the head. Officers then noticed a wallet and note on the table. The man was a 33 year old from Laredo Tx Joseph Ian Ruiz was pronounced dead at the scene. We ask the public if you know anything about this to please come foward. Investigation is taking place at this time.
