Ladies and Gentlemen, Before we can start, I would like to tell you about a HiT Entertainment show from 1998 called “Bob the Builder” if you’re all fans of it.
the show is about a builder named Bob who goes on adventures, building stuff with his building machines (Scoop, Muck, Dizzy, Lofty, Roley, his partner Wendy, Benny, Scrambler, Gribber and Grabber, etc.) however one episode stays in my mind.
Here’s how it goes, I was playing online games on my computer, until I notice the doorbell ringing, I rushed over to answer it, and to my surprise, the package had a picture of a bolt, I opened up the package in an exciting way, and it was a Bob the Builder DVD.
the cover consists of the Bob the Builder cast in a background of Sunflower Valley from Project: Build It, with the title above them reading out “Bob the Builder: Can We Fix The Complete Series? Yes We Can!”
I rushed over to my computer (because it can play DVDs), I proceeded to watch this, it started with the HiT Entertainment Logo, but something was wrong, the block looked like it is brutally beaten up, and it somehow started to talk.
“Help me, please… anyone?” The logo asked “I was being attacked…. there’s nothing I can do at all… he really kidnapped me…. please…. just, tell him not to do it.”
After his speech, it faded to black, it then shows some previews from other HiT Entertainment shows, it then took me to the menu.
Bob was listing some things needed to be taken care of, but as he was walking, he noticed the viewers.
“Oh hi!” Bob greeted. “Say, I could really use your help!” he then walked over to where his machines were “Me and My team are putting on a big show.”
Scoop, Muck, Dizzy, Roley, Lofty, Wendy, Pilchard, Bird, Spud and Travis were there too.
“If you click on me, or the Play All option, we can watch all the episodes featured, and if you’re lucky, you can watch some fanmade-episodes.” Scoop began.
“If you click on me or the Episode Selection option, you can choose your favorite adventure this complete series has.” Muck instructed.
“Also, you can click on me or the Website option, and we can show you how to go to HiT Entertainment.com.” Lofty said
“And by the way, you can click on me or the Behind the Scenes option, and we can listen to Keith Chapman and the cast interviewing on the show. And there is a secret episode in the Bonus before the reboot in 2015.” Dizzy stated. I was confused. Why would she said the reboot, and what secret episode before 2015?
“And, you can also click on me and Wendy or this option, to go to the Settings menu. Good luck!” Bob finished
Soon afterwards, they all got back to work, while Travis set off back to Scarecrow Cottage. Bob turned back to the camera and said.
“So, what are you waiting for?” Bob asked. “Pick an option and let’s get started!”
After that, I pressed Play All to watch all the episodes.
“Great! Let’s get started!” Bob prepared.
It then did a BTB transition like on those Nick Jr. and PBS Kids airings. Along with the DVDs.
The DVD started at the first episode from November, 28, 1998 called “Scoop to the Rescue” and ended at the last episode from 2011 called “A Dinosaur for Scratch”, plus it had seven specials (the first one was A Christmas to Remember from 2001, the second one was The Knights of Can-A-Lot (also known as The Knights of Fix-A-Lot in the US) from 2003, the third one was Snowed Under: The Bobblesberg Winter Games from 2004, the fourth one was When Bob Became a Builder from 2005, the fifth one was Built to be Wild from 2006, the sixth one was Scrambler to the Rescue from 2007, and the seventh one was Race to the Finish from 2008) if you’re lucky enough to watch them.
After all of those episodes, a warning came up, which took place at the first frame of the theme song.
“WARNING: This episode of Bob the Builder you are about to watch was originally made for a series finale of the cancelled Season 18, but it was not allowed to air on TV, but aired anyways. It was made by a former animator at SD Entertainment known as Cleeny Brown, he was fired for gruesome episode ideas of our show. It contains scenes of blood, gore, and mild bad words and swears. Watch at your own risk.”
“Aw no!” I sighed. “This is gonna be bad.” And it was.
The theme song of “Ready Steady Build” played, but the logo was horror themed, the sky was dark red (which was to symbolize blood), and the singing was demonic. But no one didn’t mind, not even the Can-Do-Crew.
“Okay, this is creepy-looking.” I gulped.
After the unusual theme song, the title card with the words “Last Deal in Fixham Harbour” came up, and it showed a view of Fixham Harbour. It zoomed into the building yard, where Bob and the machines were.
“Okay, team. Today we’ve got more jobs to do before we leave Fixham Harbour.” Bob began.
“What?” I gasped. “They’re leaving Fixham Harbour?!”
But before, Bob and his team could go, they noticed that the sky was dark red, just like in the intro.
“Hold on, why is the sky red?” Bob asked.
“Um… I’m not sure, Bob!” Muck told Bob. “The sky is never like this.”
“I’m not sure either.” Wendy said.
“We need to do something about this.” Pilchard spoke in the same voice of Wendy.
I was shocked. Pilchard had never spoke in the show before, aside from her meows.
“Pilchard?!” Bob gasped.
“You can talk?!” Wendy asked.
“Why of course, I can talk, you’re talking machines after all.” Pilchard told Wendy.
“I know, but what can we do to our work?” Wendy asked.
Suddenly, a dark figure appeared behind the Can-Do Crew.
“Urr, Bob?…” Lofty whimpered. “What is that, Err, horrible thing?
Bob then turned around and gasped what he had seen.
“Who are you?” Bob whimpered.
“I’m the building demon.” the building demon introduced.
“The b-building demon!?” Bob asked in fear.
“Sorry fool, you’ve left no choice. I guess… You’re next.” Ths building demon spoke in the voice of David McCallum (who passed away on September 25th, 2023).
The building demon then grabbed Bob by the neck, he choked and gagged as blood was drooling out of his mouth.
While he was choking, his color and look started to change.
Bob now had bloodshot eyes, his hard hat is red and had spikes, his building outfit had darker shades of red and black, and his boots were maroon.
“What?!” Lofty screamed.
The building demon then let go of his neck as he feel towards the ground with no pulse as it faded away.
“Alright, that’s it…” Bob muttered. “All the machines will die.”
Bob then got up and grabbed out a grenade, launched at the machines, and walked away offscreen.
“Adios, machines.” He yelled as the grenade explodes the machines, scrapping all of them while they scream as they we’re scrapped.
Wendy whitnessed the scene and gasped in shock, as she ran to Bob and slapped him on the face.
“Why you little?!” Wendy shouted.
“Because i want revenge, motherfucker.” Bob sinisterly said.
I was shocked to hear Bob swearing in a children’s show.
Bob then went closer to Wendy and strangled her, causing blood to come out of her neck. She then fell on the ground, dead.
“Lesson learned, bitch!” Bob shouted.
Pilchard then teleported out of nowhere and tried to scratch Bob’s left eye but he punched him all the way to SPACE.
Bob then grabbed out the camera as yelled “I’M COMING FOR SATAN NEXT! OH AND BY THE WAY, FUCK FIXHAM HARBOUR!” as he shot the camera while the screen cracked.
“What the frick?!” I screamed. “Why is this episode shorter than any 11 minute-like episode?”
Afterwards, the credits played but it was playing Amour Plastique by Videoclub, instead of the clips from the episode, it was a black screen, and the SD Entertainment logo showed up, but, HOLY SHIT, IT WAS SCREWED UP.
The SD letters are demonic, the background was lit on fire and not to mention i could hear screaming in the background.
The HiT Entertainment logo came up, but it was the same as the last encounter, and the dialogue was different. It now said “Save yourself”.
It then showed a black screen.
I then ran to get the remote but before i could, there was a jumpscare.
It was an edited screenshot of Jojo in “Easy as Pie” where she was panicking when her classroom was a mess after she pressed the orange clown nose on the Pie Machine but the differences were her eyes were black hollow holes with red dots and they were leaking blood, same as the jumpscare from Jojo the Demonic Clown. In the background was the jumpscare sounds of the void logos.
”OH GOD NO!” i gasped in the voice of Shannen Doherty (the actress behind Prue Halliwell in Charmed and Brenda in Beverly Hills 90210).
After the jumpscare was over, it took me back to the menu.
I was in so much fright after seeing that.
“I’m gonna die of a heart attack if i see one more creepy episode… I’m not joking…” I muttered under my breath.
I then took out the disc and put it back in its case. I then went outside and smashed it with all my own force.
To this day, i never watched Bob the Builder after this episode.
