**Man Arrested After Trashing Downey KFC Over Chicken Order**
*Downey, CA* – A man identified as Nigward Jenkins, 29, was arrested Tuesday evening after a chaotic outburst at a KFC restaurant in Downey, California. The Downey Police Department responded to the scene after receiving multiple calls from distressed customers and employees reporting that Jenkins had gone on a rampage inside the fast-food chain over a dispute involving his chicken order.
According to witnesses, the incident began when Jenkins ordered a 10-piece bucket of chicken. However, when he received his meal, he discovered that there were only seven pieces of chicken in the bucket. What started as a simple complaint quickly escalated when employees offered to fix the mistake but reportedly took too long to do so, sparking Jenkins’ frustration.
“He was calm at first, but then he just snapped,” said one customer, who was present during the incident. “He started yelling at the staff, calling them names, and then things got out of control.”
Surveillance footage shows Jenkins throwing food trays, knocking over the soda machine, and even flipping over a table. One employee tried to calm him down, but Jenkins allegedly hurled a bucket of mashed potatoes across the counter in response.
By the time Downey police arrived at the scene, the restaurant was in disarray. Officers quickly apprehended Jenkins, who was still shouting about the missing pieces of chicken as they led him out in handcuffs.
“We take incidents like this seriously,” said Officer Maria Lopez of the Downey Police Department. “No matter how upset someone may be, this type of behavior is unacceptable. Mr. Jenkins will face charges of vandalism and disturbing the peace.”
Jenkins was taken into custody without further incident and is being held on $5,000 bail. No injuries were reported, but KFC employees were left shaken by the ordeal, with one stating, “It was just a mistake with the order. We never expected this kind of reaction.”
The KFC location has since resumed regular operations, though customers will likely remember the night as the one where a missing piece of chicken led to mayhem.
