As first reported by ESPN and Fox Sports, American Sensation Oscar Cortes Jr has chosen to play for Netherlands powerhouse AFC Ajax. He had a number of teams in Europe that gave offers for their academy but at the end he chose Ajax. When asked why, he stated “ they develop really well, you’ve had the talents of De Jong, Antony, Alvarez and Cruyff play for a club like Ajax and now play for the top clubs in the planet.” The American Talent was ranked #2 in the whole country for U-22 and now has a future ahead of him. Reports are also suggesting that he may choose to represent La Selección Mexicana but we don’t know much yet. Another Star is in the horizon in the Netherlands.
