The Saints signed Winston to a 1-year deal in April of 2020. He was coming off a hot/cold 2019 in Tampa Bay that saw him throw for 5,109 yards at 8.2 YPA … and chuck 30 INTs.
He was surrounded by top talent including Chris Godwin, Mike Evans and O.J. Howard — plus a speed threat in Breshad Perriman who tallied a career-best 36-645-6.
Winston underwent lasik eye surgery last offseason. Bullish news, we suppose.
