Popular Upcoming Artist “IDKJELO” aka “Jelo” Receives Backlash After He Commits Federal Crime, and may be sentenced up to 50 years in Federal County Prison.
Judge Wilbert Miggons told reporters Monday mourning that the artist will face up to 50 years with No Allowance to be bailed and was also charged with RICO charges.
The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act is a United States federal law that provides for extended criminal penalties and a civil cause of action for acts performed as part of an ongoing criminal organization.
The young talented teen was charged with multiple accounts of First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Degree in with holding his music hostage, and not releasing to fans. After fans begged for new music, the Artist continued to refuse to publish and release.
Jelo then proceeded to post a very threatening image on his Instagram demanding fans to “give” him an essay as to why he should drop his song this upcoming Friday.
The inappropriate command from the teens Personal Instagram Account ‘Close Friends’ Story said “send me a convincing essay as to why i should drop this song and i’ll put it out friday🤭”. Prosecutors convinced a judge that if Jelo were freed, that he might
still continue to hold his Music Hostage.
Attorneys for Jelo (born Jalen) have balked at the claim that they’d be a threat to witnesses, and filed motions asking the judge to reconsider his decision.
IDKJelo’s attorney, Fanum Banks, argued that the Prosecution’s case for keeping Jelo incarcerated was “based on inaccurate, misleading, erroneous information.” Jelo’s legal team, led by William Bronxford, denied that Jelo was in a “command position” within the accusations and emphasized the fact that he hasn’t been accused of a single violent crime.
Officers and Juries told reporters yesterday in court that “Jalen must release every song that he has as soon as possible, Or else serious consequences will be enforced.”
